How do I ??
- You can always check your email at: http://webmail.tobaccofreekids.org
- You can check your voicemails by calling your direct line (ask IT if you don’t know what it is) and then when your greeting starts, press * 7, then your extension and then your PIN. If you don’t know your PIN, ask IT to reset it (send an email to HELPDESK).
- You can have your voicemails sent to you in an email. Ask IT if you want that set up.
- You can have your extensions forwarded to your home phone or cell phone, but only if you are in a local calling area to DC. — If you try calling the number you want forwarded to from your TFK desk phone, and Verizon asks for your 3 digit code, then we can’t forward your phone calls.
- To forward your phone, click on either of the two large left/right arrows in the very center of your phone until you see Call Frwding. Click the button next to it to select it.
If there is a number you don’t want in there already, press the Clear button. - Enter the number you want to forward to, starting with a “9” then the area code, etc.
Remember, it’s gotta be a local call from DC. - Click Done at the top right when finished.
- You’ll see a triangle next to Call Frwding now. All calls to you will be forwarded.
- When you want to turn it off, press the Call Frwding button again, the triangle will disappear. The next time you want to forward calls, your phone number is now programmed in, so you just need to click the Call Frwding button again, and click Done to turn it back on.
- To forward your phone, click on either of the two large left/right arrows in the very center of your phone until you see Call Frwding. Click the button next to it to select it.
- Plans are for Deborah to keep answering the phones, even from home.
- Make sure Deborah has your cell phone# so we can text you alerts if necessary.
Remote Desktop Users: Remember to leave your computer on when you leave (lock it or log out, but leave it on) if you want to connect to it from home.
